It is a smooth and shiny surface obtained by repeated abrasion of the surface of the slab by using a set of abrasives ranging from coarse, medium and fine to superfine.
It is a smooth and matt finish surface with roughness. The reflectivity of the honed finish is less and surface will have a duller or matte finish as compared to the polish finish.
It is a rough textured surface with roughness resembling the texture of a sand stone. It is obtained by controlled bombarding on the Quartz Surface slab with steel shots to create coarse and rough textured but flat surface.
It is a smooth and less glossy finish surface resembling the texture of an ‘orange peel’ with roughness. The finish is obtained by repeated abrasion of slab surface using a selected combination of resin abrasives and diamond brushes. The low reflectivity of the Egg finish makes it an ideal selection where cozy interiors are sought after. It has relatively high co-efficient of friction and makes it a desirable surface where anti skid requirements are desired.
It is a smooth and less glossy finish surface similar to that of egg finish but with a slightly milder texture. The relatively low reflectivity of the Egg finish makes it an ideal selection where cozy interiors are preferred. It has relatively high co-efficient of friction than honed and polished surfaces and makes it a desirable surface where skid resistance properties are called for.
It is a smooth and more glossy surface than the honed finish slabs and with roughness. Its higher gloss value makes it easier to maintain than honed finish slabs. This finish is obtained by polishing the slab surface using a selected combination of resin-bonded abrasives, diamond & silicon carbide brushes.
Ardesia is a slate like texture, which is done during the molding process. After molding, we generally sand blast and brush the slabs for final finishing.
- Veins – The slab has veins only on one of the surfaces, the larger area of the slab. We cannot see the movement at the edges.
- Arabesque – The slab has vein like movements throughout the slab. We can see the movement at the edges also.
